Hankook Ventus Prime 4 K135 Review

Hankook is a premium quality summer tire from the Korean manufacturer, released in 2022. It is a more affordable tire compared to other premium competitors, but still provides excellent performance. The model is available from 16 to 17” sizes and is suitable for Passenger cars and mid-size Crossovers.

Thanks to technologies such as Uniform footprint pressure, Low Noise Groove Wall Knurling, Round Optimization and Extreme Precision Handling Technology, the Hankook provides good dry and wet performance, as well as a comfortable driving.

The tire has one of the highest dry performance ratings in the category at 98.42%, based on multiple tests. Its result in braking is 97.7%, and in handling – 99.14%. This means that the tire provides maximum performance on dry asphalt.

Wet performance

Wet asphalt is one of the biggest driving hazards. It is very important that the tire provides reliable grip on wet roads. And Hankook performs well, with an overall score of 94.08%. Noise

Thanks to Low Noise Groove Wall Knurling technology, the tire provides low noise levels, with a rating of 97.72%. Excellent result for a quiet ride.

Rolling resistance

Fuel efficiency is also a fairly important criterion for many drivers. Hankook’s rolling resistance rating is 85%, which is not the best result.

Tire durability is also important. Hankook has a wear resistance rating of 79.47%, which can be rated as acceptable

Conclusion: Hankook has many qualities for safe driving. It has great results on dry roads, excellent wet braking and handling, and good aquaplaning resistance. In addition, it provides low noise levels, one of the best in the category. Among the disadvantages are those that do not affect driving safety – high rolling resistance and relatively low durability
