In 2017/2018 experts of the Polish publication Motor have tested the Debica Frigo 2 at size 185/65 R15 and compared it with five similar budget, mid-range and premium winter tyres.

According to the test result Debica took 5th place and lost to the main competitor – Uniroyal.
Main conclusions:
- Very bad on the wet: the longest braking distance (longer even the Chinese Wanli), low handling and lateral stability.
- Low straight and lateral aquaplanning resistance.
- Acceptable on the dry. The tyre expectedly lost to premium brands, but was very close to similar mid-range tyres.
- The best on the snow.
- Good rolling resistance.
- High Comfort.
- The highest noise level.
