Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-01 Tests
2016 AMS (205/55 R16)
In 2015 experts of the Swedish publication Auto Motor & Sport have tested the Bridgestone Blizzak Spike 01 at size 205/55 R16 and compared it with seven similar budget, mid-range and premium studded tyres. In addition, experts included into the test eight studless tyres to compare results.
Overall Bridgestone Blizzak Spike 01 Review
According to the test results the Bridgestone took 7th place among sttudded tyres.
Main conclusions:
- Good wet braking and handling.
- Poor dry braking: the tyre showed on of the longest braking distances among all the tyres.
- One of the lowest results on the ice among similar studded tyres.
- The lowest results on the snow among similar studded tyres.
- High fuel consumption.
